Giant LCD screens made up of multiple display modules can be seen everywhere in shopping mall atriums, city streets and even highways. Such large screens not only have to carry the weight of several tons of modules, but also deal with complex environmental challenges such as outdoor strong winds and temperature change corrosion. The choice of the supporting frame directly determines the safety and service life of the project. Industrial aluminum profile ENI-8-4080EL-T has become an ideal choice for this type of giant splicing screen frame due to its excellent mechanical properties and customization advantages.
Different from the pain point of traditional steel structure frames that are heavy and difficult to process, the ENI-8-4080EL-T aluminum profile itself has sufficient structural strength and can adapt to the load-bearing requirements of different scenarios: large screens in indoor shopping malls are mostly installed on the wall, and the horizontal main keels can be fixed on the wall, each display module is directly locked on the sub-frame of the profile, and the weight is evenly transferred to the wall structure; for independent large screens at street intersections and highways, lateral load-bearing rods and diagonal support rods can be added at the bottom to form a stable triangular support structure, and with pre-embedded foundations, it can withstand the impact of 12-level strong winds.
Compared with traditional steel structures, the surface of ENI-8-4080EL-T aluminum profiles has been anodized, resistant to high temperatures and corrosion, and is not easy to rust or fade when used outdoors. If the position or size of the large screen needs to be adjusted later, it can be directly disassembled and reassembled. The materials can be reused, and the overall cost is lower than customized steel structures. It is a high-quality solution that takes into account practicality, convenience and cost-effectiveness.
In the installation process, the standardized connection design of aluminum profiles has greatly improved the assembly efficiency: the support frame of each module can be pre-assembled in the factory in advance, and the splicing only needs to be completed on-site through built-in connectors, and then secondary reinforcement with corner codes and bolts, which not only avoids the tedious on-site welding, but also can accurately control the splicing accuracy to ensure the overall flatness of the large screen.
For later maintenance and cleaning needs, a flat seal can be added to the T-shaped notch of the profile, and a special end cap can be configured at the notch to prevent dust accumulation and water ingress, and also make the appearance of the frame neater and smoother.
A: Unlike heavy steel structures, ENI-8-4080EL-T is lightweight yet offers high structural strength, making it easier to handle and install. It adapts easily to various mounting scenarios and features superior corrosion resistance without requiring on-site welding.
A: For outdoor freestanding installations, you can integrate lateral load-bearing rods and diagonal support rods to form a stable triangular structure. Paired with pre-embedded foundations, this design is capable of withstanding Level 12 winds.
A: Anodizing creates a highly durable surface layer that resists corrosion, high temperatures, rust, and fading. This ensures long-term structural integrity and aesthetic appeal under harsh weather conditions.
A: Yes. The modular design enables the structure to be easily disassembled, resized, or reconfigured. This flexibility makes it a highly reusable and cost-effective solution compared to permanently welded steel frames.
A: Standardized connections allow for pre-assembling module supports at the factory. On-site splicing is quickly completed using built-in connectors, corner codes, and bolts, ensuring high precision, flatness, and significantly reduced setup times.
