Determine the basic size according to the use needs: Since the tabletop only places monitors and small accessories, the load-bearing capacity of the ENI-6-2525 aluminum profile can fully meet the requirements. There is no need to choose a thicker model, which can effectively control the production cost. In order to organize the power cords and place the computer host, we added a storage board under the desktop, so the overall frame was built with ENI-6-2525 aluminum profiles.
Column Configuration: A total of 6 column profiles were prepared — 4 of them are responsible for supporting the load-bearing of the desktop, and the remaining 2 are specifically used to assist in the installation of the lower host storage board.
The layout of the crossbars of the frame follows practical principles: except for the operating surface close to the seat, a crossbar is arranged on each of the other three sides to ensure the stability of the frame. An additional crossbar is added in the middle where the wooden tabletop is installed to prevent the long tabletop from deforming and sagging. Mark and drill holes on the board according to the location of the bolts in advance to prepare for subsequent fixing.
Used as the basic connection method for clean, concealed joints throughout the frame structure.
Corner codes paired with hexagonal socket bolts ensure both aesthetics and long-term structural stability.
Installed at the bottom of each column to prevent slipping and protect flooring from abrasion during daily use.
Because home computer desks generally do not move, hoof feet are installed at the bottom of the columns to prevent slipping and abrasion on the ground.
In order to improve the storage capacity, we can install three perforated boards on the sides and the back of the table: not only can they prevent dust from falling on the back gaps and the main unit, but they can also be freely matched with storage boxes and hooks to store small accessories such as headphones, U disks, pens, etc., so that the desktop can always be kept tidy and the vertical space can be fully utilized to expand the storage capacity.
Storage Benefits: Dust prevention on rear gaps & main unit | Freely configurable hooks & storage boxes | Full utilization of vertical space
